Steve,
I upgraded the anchor on Sanctuary to a 45# Manson Supreme, and had the same
problem with Monk's OEM bow roller assembly. I took the OEM pin with me to
Fawcett's in Annapolis and found, from their in stock selection of bails
used on sailboat booms, an exact fit that works extremely well; same wire
diameter, and spacing to the inside of the bow roller assembly. I think it
was 2 3/4 inches, but I'm doing that from memory and could be off. I used a
SS carriage bold from the outside and SS self-locking nut on the inside so
the bow roller could swivel in it's mount.
Good luck!
