T&T: Anchor Bale/Bail?

If you are anchored in extreem weather with severe pitching the absence of a
bale will become a very serious concern-your rope or chain will jump out and
chafe against something other than the bow roller and if chain will proceed to
saw through fiberglass or wood.
 
Been there, done that-lived through my mistake-built a better bale-smooth as a
babys bottom-boat can dance all night and I can sleep tight
