T&T: What size anchor chain do i need

I seem to remember that Windhorse (Steve Dashew) uses 3/8 inch chain on his 83
foot ocean cruiser.

but, (again from memory, I can't find the reference) it is G7 chain.  Very
expensive, very strong.  Not quite as strong as G4 1/2 inch chain, but close.

He uses a 100 kg (240 pound) Rocna.

Which ever you choose, make sure you CAREFULLY match the chain to your anchor
windlass.  Best to cut a short length of the actual chain that you are using
to send to your windlass manufacturer to make sure it is a perfect fit.
