T&T: Vacuum gauges

hmmm...one of my best friends here in the bremerton area, is a bill mcleran! 
on the vacume gauge problem...i too had the problem of reading to high, 
called racor, talked to a young person that told me it must be shot, etc, 
and should buy new! so i did some research, talked to a good friend abt his 
that worked fine...don`t remember who set me straight, but the problem was 
to much oil in mine! (mineral oil) so i looked at my friends gauge, and 
where the oil level was...and poured in out of mine, till i got down, or 
close to the level in his...took a little experimenting, but i got there! 
now mine read what i think in correct...the mineral oil is for vibration...i 
had a very small bubble at the top, his was down abt a quarter 
inch...anyway, it`s worth a look see...c
