Jeff. I see no reason to not use Acetone, I do it all of the time to get 5200
and everything else I caulk with out of my hair. Just try to keep it off the
skin although a little won't hurt. The Acetone will evaporate really fast.

This is not a pretty story...?
?
So we're removing the shrink wrap from our boat and putting everything back
together. One of the jobs is re-attaching the anchor light mounting which
secures to the arch and sticks way up above it. I'm applying 5200 and
attaching the mount while my wife is below holding and steadying the mount.
We've done it a half-dozen times before.?
?
Needless to say, today's application was different. A nice glob of 5200 slowly
dripped down the side of the arch and right onto my wife's head. It was one of
those slow motion things where I saw the whole thing happening and was
powerless to do anything about it.?
?
I told her to try to get it out ASAP because it'll only get more difficult
over time.?
?
The earth is standing still in the Siegel household at this moment because the
5200 is gone but her hair still feels "sticky". Acetone sounds like a really
bad idea for hair. Does anyone have a suggestion? The web is silent about 5200
and hair...?
