Jeff:

I bought a Rocna after dragging twice with a Delta- a 45 lb model. I have a 35' sailing catamaran and it has a huge amount of windage. As much as a 40 trawler with flybridge I would guess.

The 55# ( 25 kg) Rocna is as big as I could fit on the foredeck and so far in about a dozen anchorings, it has held very well. It sets immediately and I can back down with both engines to really set it at 1500 rpm. At that rpm I can motor into a 40 kt wind, so that sets it very well. And when you retreive it, it is amazing how much bottom it brings up with it.

I am convinced. So how big an anchor for your boat. If you can fit the 55 kg model, about 110 lbs go for it.
