spring, and after a few weeks on the hook, with a different and
challenging anchorage every night as I traveled from Seattle area to
Juneau, I'm convinced.
We replaced our drag-prone Bruce for a Rocna two years ago and have
never regretted the change. The only downside is that the Rocna
sometimes digs in so deeply that we have taken to using a buoyed trip
line to back it out as a matter of routine. But we would much rather
have an anchor we have to back out on occasion than one we don't trust.
