A couple of years ago I read about a device to help clean anchor chain. It
was made up of a PVC pipe, the inside lined with artificial turf bristle,
like is used on doormat, It had a slit lenghtwise to allow the chain to be
slipped inside. It could be fixed to a boathook then pushed up and down
as the chain is retrieved and sprayed with the washdown water do a better
job. I looked around and found something similar on the "net" if you are
interested google "borkat rope washer" not exactly the same thing but it will
give you an idea. Has any one used one of these or something similar, if so
with what results?
Thanks
