T&T: transducer glue

When I did the same thing I mounted the transducer in silicone. To make
sure it would work I placed the transducer in a thin ziplock bag of water
and placed it in the hull with as much water contact as possible against the
hull. When I was satisfied that it would work I bedded the transducer in
silicone making sure that I did not trap air bubbles in the silicone. This
can only be done on a non-cored hull from what I have determined. My
application has worked flawlessly.
