I'm
going to suggest something a little different:
use the same kind of pump that
you already have on the pressure water system.
The capacities and pressure
switch settings are similar enough - and you'll
then have an onboard spare !
Quick-release fittings would also help.
(I can't take credit for this idea:
American Tug figured it out long ago).
Everything on a small boat should have
at least two uses...
I'd also be hesitant about tee-ing off the AC inlet,
especially if that pump is not self-priming.
And don't forget a good inline
strainer to protect the pump.
