T&T: Anchorlift Windlasses

I have an Anchorlift Aquarius, 2500 watt.
It was shipped with the wrong gypsy; very difficult to sort out. Chain
did not fit etc etc.
"Dealer" in S. Fla is no longer the dealer but a nice guy.
You might call him but he is under a lot of constraints as to what he
can say.
Solenoid box contacts showed burning with V. little use. Replaced it
with one from Imtra; visibly better.
24 v. model, supposed to be silver but ?????
Have never been able to talk to or get an email reply from Norway.
If I were buying an anchor winch I would go to Imtra. I have a lot of
experience with them with other equipment. Good to deal with.
Maxwell is supposed to be good but no experience.
If you want Anchorlift, find a dealer to talk to first.
Last summer, when I was trying to sort out the chain, gypsy etc. no one
knew anything; or less than that. Could not find anyone in the Americas
or Europe to help; looked hard too.
It does make the anchor go up and down.
