ABYC recommends a minimum wire size of #16 for most wiring, but does
permit #18 in some applications.
ABYC has tables to determine wire sizes for 3% and 10% voltage drop
for various currents and wire lenghts. These tables are reproduced in
Calder and elsewhere.
