Never flamed a company on T&T but with loud voice, would like to caution
anyone from spending money on a Karcher. I have owned two. The first was
marginally acceptable, then I made the mistake of buying a second that was
dead on arrival, then replaced with a remanufactured unit under their rapid
replacement program, used once satisfactorily, then did the loop for a year,
returned and unit would not function.
Worked with tech support several times (communication was difficult) with no
luck, Karcher would not replace because it was out of warranty, would not
transfer me to management, would not give me the phone number to management,
had to submit a comment through web site, words on the web site said you
will not get a reply, contacted repair facility and could have the cylinder
head replaced at cost of $60. No good money after bad.
When you need to have a rapid replacement program and a motor that needs a
head replacement on the second use, and management that cannot be reached
the red flags should be flying.
