T&T: Best sunscreen

Impressive discussion, group. One of the things that makes this group
so valuable. Anyway, here are my personal observations.

I go to my dermatologist once a year. At my last visit, she said my
skin seemed to be less sun damaged. I explained I sold my sailboat.
She was appalled that I would do such a thing, then I explained I had
bought a trawler with inside steering so I was always out of the sun.
She asked me if I missed sailing, and I explained that as I was
getting older, I was losing strength in my hands for pulling strings
and was worried that when push came to shove, I might not be able to
perform. There's gotta be a better way to say that.

Anyway, I don't miss either the sailing or being out in the sun.
Especially the first time we took a wave over the bow (very rare on a
Willard 40) and green water hit the windscreen. I turned on the
wipers. Tough duty. The Admiral poured me a cup of java. And we
soldiered on. Passage making in my carpet slippers.

sun block, floppy hats, sunscreen clothing are good. Staying out of
the sun is better. I love my pilothouse.
