<Chris wrote in part: Did you go to the local Walmart and buy 50 (250
gallons per trip) 5-gallon plastic gas containers?>

We carry them with us for this trip as we buying fuel lately can have a
range of price form $.05/gal (Venezuela) to $5/gal in the Eastern Caribbean.
SO we like to be able to plan on buying fuel at the right price when we can.

We have a mix of 20 50 and 60 liter (13 and 15 gal ea) containers which
actually gives us 293 gallons of on deck fuel if we need it or in this case
a deal at the local Pemex pump and some guys who wanted to make a few
dollars thru hard work. It helped them and us.

Our next planned fuel stop will be in La Paz but if we spot a deal "on the
beach" so to speak we are ready to take advantage of it ;-)

Cheers
