T&T: Dogs to Cuba

I can't help with dogs to Cuba RECENTLY, but the rules don't seem to change frequently.
I took my Schipperke down to Marina Hemingway near Havana aboard my Grand Banks 42 in
about 1991 and there was no problem clearing her in, though a veterinarian was called to
the boat to examine her and wanted to see health papers and evidence of her rabies
vaccination. It was all very friendly and non-confrontational and, as I recall, we shared
a Coke with the vet who spoke excellent English and stayed to visit for an hour or so.

Not counting visits to Guantanamo Bay back in my Navy days, I've been to Cuba by boat twice
and look forward to going back when the rules are relaxed.

I am giving the present administration some windage in planning my Cuba By
Christmas Cruise. I havr the various Cuba Cruising guides and while I have
figured out that I can bring and register a motorbike in Cuba--I have not been
able to figure out how welcome my dog is in Cuba. Anyone with recent
experience, Canadians perhaps?
