Thanks Rich for your kind words re my posting about the 118 Wally. You are
a real gentleman proving that it is not necessary to be nasty when someone
posts something on the T&T List you cannot relate to.
    I made my post
about this unusual boat for several reasons...because I considered it an
interesting boat (I did NOT say that it was a trawler!) and I also hoped to
give some of you poor guys 'on the hard' up in the frozen north...something to
talk about besides the 'poop war' before you started an 'international
incident' rating poop...US vs Canadian...I know you are all frustrated with
the extended cold weather, anxious to get back on the water...but it is sad
that some of you find it necessary to speak up about something you have little
experience with...art and design.
    Rich is correct...I have owned
traditional boats and would have NO interest in the 118...I dislike 'fast
boats' and have no desire for the life style the 188 represents...but Rich
explains that it IS possible to appreciate something beyond one's own scope.
Not all the responses were negative though...sharing this info about the
118 brought me one marriage proposal!...based on my buying one of them...guess
that was a 'safe offer'!
Now you can go back to trashing WM and
criticizing boat show dealers.
