The title "trawler" has been applied to so many type of boats ranging
from converted fishing vessels to twin diesel "go fast" sedans that a
description of a boat as a trawler is almost meaningless. The
"trawler" belonging to the owner of the T&T list is a twin outboard
powered catamaran cruiser. Traditionally a recreational trawler is a
conventional looking craft with living accommodations and some
provision for steering the boat from inside. Everything else is up
for grabs. Some trawlers even have sails.
Perhaps if you gave us some information about your boating
preferences, the responses could be more specific.
