Sportfish? what's new!
I've had a few similar encouters on every run in the ICW... most of them are
inconsiderate. Two of them passed within 50' a few miles from Coinjock...
no warning, they came flying at 20kts, around a bend. Naomi was in the
galley preparing lunch, took an hour to clean the mess. A little while
later, surprise, i see both of them tied up at Coinjock... Told them what i
thought using the hailer, lots of heads turned...
best thing to do is you get damage or injuries, it to call the USCG and
report the incident. If it's just being inconsiderate, then send out a
securite call, describing the boat, location, etc advising others to watch
out for dangerous wake.
