T&T: GFO Stuffing Box Packing

On one of my first runs with the GFO packing the shaft was up to almost 300
degrees! Way too tight on the stuffing box. I loosened it up a bit,
apparently too much because I got too much of a drip, almost a stream, and the
temp dropped below 100. Last time I checked I think I have it just about
right, no drip and 105 degrees on the shaft just in front of the stuffing box.
This was on a 85 degree day, but the Chesapeake water temps are probably still
pretty low.
I usuually run at about 1500 - 1700 engine RPM, so, what, about 700 - 800
shaft RPM.
I'm not entirely happy yet and consider this to still be a work in progress.
