T&T: PSS Shaft Seals

Chuck,

I had PSS seals installed 3 months ago on the advice of my boat yard
in Ft Myers Beach (Olson Marine).  They said that they have had
nothing but good luck with them.   We've only put about 60 hours on
the PSSs so far, but no problems.

I installed a Lasdrop seal on my old sail boat many years ago and
never had any problems with it either over many years.  Olson's says
that the PSS is better engineered than the Lasdrop.
