T&T: 12 volt thermostat

I am installing a fan in the refrigeration compartment to pull the heat out the vent and would like to run the fan from a 12 volt thermostat. I have done a web search but the results are a bit confusing. Can anyone give me some recommendations including where to find the right type? Thanks, Chuck
