with the recent discussions of anchors and anchoring one bit of information
stuck in my mind. Use 8 plait line for the fiber part of the rode because it
handles easily, doesn't tend to develop hockles and can pile into a bag.
Did I get that right?

I just relocated my boat to a slip where backing out will occasionally
require warping. The propwash pulls to starboard, we have to back to port, I
thought I'd get enough of this line to do double duty.
