T&T: &T: Great Lakes

Sounds like the kind of horrible place that I'm dumb enough to want to
go to. It's a character defect of mine -- wanting to visit these
godforsaken places. Unfortunately, between the Orca-guided sperm
whales blocking my way south through BC, and the rather longish drive
"around the block" to get there from Alaska, its going to have to wait
for a while.

But I'm a glutton for punishment, and I grew up on the Great Lakes
(which is more or less saying the same thing), so I'm going to come up
there and suffer it all over again one of these days.

I have vivid memories of spending a summer in a mouse-infested cabin
on Whitefish Bay, trying to save enough of my blood from the mosquitos
to keep breathing.

Oh... and floating around in this little boat that didn't sink in some
ridiculously clear water.

(Former Michigander, currently trapped in Alaska due to sperm whale
attacks)
