T&T: Fuel tank crossovers . When not to close

I have a GB with single engine and twin tanks one either side of vessel.

Take care when closing balance valve if you have a single engine and the
return fuel return is not switchable to either tank.

When boat was built only one tank was connected for the fuel return. I
modified system to enable return to be switched to either tank to prevent
overfilling  if this tank was not the supply tank.

I have found that an existing list does cause fuel to further increase the
list, and closing the balance valve will prevent an additional list.
