T&T: Heeling and fuel tank crossover

I close my cross over valve every time I run aground and end up heeled
over 30 degrees or so until the tide comes in (twice so far in 4
years and 20000 nm). The boat will level itself out in a hour or so if
the heavy folks all sit in the stbd settee and then depart. Of couse
when I run aground also have to tape over the shower drain so the
water does not rush up the drain when the tide comes in. The fuel
transfer would result in quite a list after a few hours aground.
Otherwise I leave it alone and open.
