T&T: Garmin Chartplotter Problem

I had the same problem with my Garmin 498 and found out that the P.C. updater
will not work unless you also purchase a chip and the burner from Garmin. I
purchased the ready to go update chip for $100.00 and then got $50 back when I
sent it back. Love the Garmin, hate the update mess.
