T&T: Garmin Chartplotter Problem

Ralph, my experience with Garmin gear is limited to little, handheld
portable GPS receivers.  But they use the same WebUpdater to update software
just like the big units like yours.  And so I've run into that problem
before, until I changed the "language" the Garmin unit speaks from NMEA to
"Garmin".  Then it updated just fine.  See if you don't have something like
that.

Garmin updater on my PC. Hooked up the Garmin to the PC using  the
