I'm sure that all of us appreciate the fact-laden warning given by John
Marshall. Although Ken Williams is having a somewhat different experience,
I'm sure that he will get a 2x4 as soon as he reads the list. Personally, I
prefer a hardwood baseball bat as they are good for black bears in addition
to dog-eating eagles. Roberts has scooped-up their little dog when they
sense the presence of eagles. One was watching the dog from the top of a
sailboat mast. John, I guess you have yet to experience the whale speed
bumps Ken has encountered. He had to stop for three whales who lined-up in
the channel and blocked it. So Alaska is just not worth the trouble, I
guess. Oh, the Canadian Army used to use 100% DEET, but became concerned
about cancer. So, you get to choose between black flies/mosquitoes and
cancer. I think the majority will risk cancer.
Well, get out as soon as you can!
