I've discovered West System G2 epoxy, a new product of theirs which is
designed to stick to polyethylene. Haven't tried it on poly, but I've
successfully bonded to Lexan.
You can find the stuff pretty readily in any marine store that sells
fiberglass stuff. It comes in a kit with two tubes of resin/hardner, isn't
outrageously priced, and is pretty easy to apply.
Suggest you test it on a sample piece first...
