T&T: GPS/Chartplotter recommendation needed

I'm a fan of the Garmin units as well. The user interface is very
intuitive. I've got four networked displays, radar, xmradio and weather,
digital fishfinder/sonar. One display in the cabin. I've got an engine
room camera hooked up to two of them (can select which display I want to
see it on). Easy to add additional cameras if you want-for example, a
security camera, for viewing on the interior display or even on a connected
television or computer monitor. I use two 10 inch displays at the helm for
navigating, set to two different scales, so you get the big picture and a
close in view of the charts. My radar overlays on the charts, a very cool
feature. When you have it installed, be sure the different components are
individually switched so you can shut down the radar or sonar when not
needed or desired--for example if you just want the xmradio running.
