T&T: GPS/Chartplotter recommendation needed

Ed, Top of the line would be Furuno, if you don't want to spend that kind of
money go with Garmin. By all means stay with the N2K system since that will
eventually be the main standard for all, except maybe Raymarine, equipment.
Installation is pretty much find a mounting place and plug and play. You
probably can do the install yourself. I would never trust Worst Marine to
install anything. If you feel you can't, look for recommendations for a local
installer. Don't necassarily go with an installers recommendations, go with
what you prefer and if posssble, get to a retailer and do some hands on with
the choice you make before you buy it, or better yet see if another boater
will let YOU play with their equipment. Chuck
