 www.ebay.com is your friend for lowering the cost of boating equipment! You
can get things for half price or less, and don't forget to sell the stuff
you don't need or remove from the boat. I've sold lots of used items off my
boat. Bought a "used" Fortress for less than half the new price... It still
had the paper sticker on it.

A lot of the T&T participants undoubtedly have far more disposable income
than I do, and for you guys I say 'go for it', but I think I'll put my
shrinking cruising kitty into the fuel tank (or a new autopilot, or another
chartplotter screen, or an upgraded tender, or some new fishing gear...).
