T&T: re Airhead - Dare I ask.

Hi Peggy,

The trawler I bought had two old Electa-Sans. No holding tanks. Not legal
for the Great Lakes. It was a terrible job taking them out. I have already
removed the frozen seacocks and fiberglassed the thru hulls and have been
cleaning the area ever since. The odor is slowly going away. I'm down to
placing a tray of vinegar in certain areas and letting that absorb the last
of it I hope.

One of the members emailed with a search tip to use with Google "airhead
site:samurai.com"
and that brought up all the past responses to my question.

I really don't want to start from scratch with toilet, hoses, tanks,
seacocks etc.

I have two heads, after reading all the comments I will at least install the
Airhead in one of them and see how it works. I am not planning on doing
anything with the forward head for now. Maybe turn it into storage.

Thank you for your professional input.

Rick
