T&T: Another PLUS for Defender

Yesterday I did some trouble-shooting on our aft Cruisair AC unit that 
hadn't been running the last few times we tried to operate it - was an 
obvious water pump problem, and yesterday the pump bearings started 
screaming occasionally. It was a small March pump and the local 
(Annapolis) Cruisair authorized dealer was only a 45 minute drive away.

For price comparison purposes I checked the price with Defender for an 
identical replacement pump, then called the Annapolis authorized dealer. 
The dealer's price was $135.00 more than Defender's, and when I asked 
them if they would meet or come close to the Defender's price the agent 
seemed incensed that I even asked! Obviously, Defender got my business 
and it will be delivered to the marina this afternoon.
