Just returned from 10 weeks in Bahamas. 5 days before departure, I found that
my RF Labs Wifi antenna system had failed, needed a replacement system
immediately.

Only fast response that I received was from IslandTimePC. they package a unit
from Ubiquiti with a power insertion module, giving ethernet interface to a
router or direct to your computer. Use an 8 dBi antenna which attached direct
to the transceiver-bridge. Available in stock, shipped on Monday, received on
Wednesday.

Ubiquiti Networks, Bullett 2 HP

Installed the unit, the difference in performance from the RF Labs was
amazing. the specs on power output and receive sensitivity are far better
than RF Labs.

When anchored at North Manjack (Abaco), I received a useable signal, I assumed
from a nearby house. On inquiry, I was told that the hot spot that I was
using was in Green Turtle Cay, approx 5 miles away.

No connection, other than satisfied customer.
