T&T: digital TV

Each time you tried a different configuration, did you do a scan for digital
stations using your TV internal tuner? I'm getting the available digital
stations in my local backwater. I get strange results with and without
amplifiers and am currently using the Seawatch amplifier. I even purchased
an outdoor Winegard digital antenna which does not improve the situation.
Reception appears to be affected by weather as are digital cell phones. In a
metro area like Sanford, an amplifier can be counterproductive. In my area,
they still seem to be fiddling with their broadcast antenna orientation.
In my case, antenna height followed by orientation (even though it is
omni-directional) are determinant.

when they switched to digital TV I bought a new Tosibas 22 inch with DVD. ?I
hooked it up to my shakespeare seawatch antenna and got only a couple of
digital stations here in Sanford Fl. ?Then I by passed the antenna amplifier
and got 14 stations. ?Then I bought an inside/otside antenna from best buy,
threw away the old seawatch ?and now I get 50 plus stations. ?cool.
