T&T: Philadelphia Marina - Recomendation needed

We plan 3 nights at Phil to see the sights.
We wonder what the group thinks of the Piers Marina vs the Phil Marine
Center. The latter is almost twice the price.

Also - any experiences with entering the marina and dockng at other
than slack tide??
Are the basins protected from the 2-3 knt current?
