Steve, I forgot to mention that the size of the chain, that the wildcat is
manufactured for is often stamped on the wildcat, many times in places that
cannot be seen unless it is removed.

You might consider removing it and checking for any identiying indication.
Just last week, I did this for a customer and discovered a number that the
manufacturer was able to reference for a size.

Another thought on your chain's size. The inside width of .45 (all
ISO/ACCO/windlass chain inside dimension is a minimum of .50) suggests NACM
chain, and since this chain does not have to meet the requirements to fit
specific wildcats, you may have a NACM chain made by someone other than
Peerless, or Crosby. Good Luck.
