T&T: Fuel Hose

We've suspended our cruising for a month or so to do some family
business and we'll be doing some maintenance and possibly an upgrade or
two to Maerin.

One of the things on my list is the 3/4" crossover hose between the
tanks. It is the OEM hose, and is showing signs of cracking. I want to
be proactive with this item.

The hose that was used on some of the fuel lines on board is Parker with
push-lok fittings, I plan to replace the rubber hose on the crossover
line with a similar push-lok hose, but from what I can find on the
Parker website, the hose is not rated A2. Perhaps the SAE rating exceeds
the A2, but I am unsure how all the ratings correlate between the
different agencies, e.g. USCG, ABYC, UL, SAE, etc.

So I have a multiple question...

   1. What Parker hose can I use that won't raise a flag when the next
      survey is done?
   2. Is not the A2 rating for fuel fill & vent? This is not a fill
line, it is essentially a fuel line in that it is filled with fuel.

The best I can figure, the 821FR hose will work with the push-lok
fittings, and *should* meet USCG & ABYC standards for how I intend to
apply it.

I'm sure someone on the list has some experience with the Parker line
and applying it for marine use, I want to be sure I'm well within the
spec before I do anything with it.
