Hi Ron
We use several anchorages on the way from Kingston to The Trent-Severn.? We usually stop around Big Bay near Belleville.? Just before entering Big Bay on your port side there is a green buoy and a cove?between Quinte?Point and ?North Port and just as you? finish crossing Big Bay and before entering the narrower area on your port side is a bay just south of Massasauga Point locally called Sandy Bay either of these is a good anchorage depending on wind direction. You can anchor anywhere between Belleville and Trenton on north or south shore depending on winds.? From any of these spots it is an easy run to Lock # 6 Frankfort.

Good luck
Cheers
