T&T: Florida Insurance Companies

All Florida is not the same for insurance rates.  I know from 
personal experience that Monroe, Dade and Broward counties have 
higher rates than other areas.

My Markel policy (issued new in May 2008) is about 3% of declared 
value to be in the Keys year round.  My previous Zurich policy which 
required me to be at least as far north as Georgia from June 1 to 
November 1 was a little less than 1%.
