T&T: Auto pilot "hunting"

Our Furuno auto pilot on our new Signature 55 would go crazy at random times
and we would have to shut it off and then on, then it would be fine. One day
while under way, a guest was traveling with us and used the guest head. When
she returned we had just reset the auto pilot. She said it seems like every
time I use the guest head you have to reset the auto pilot. HMMMM? Flushed
it again and down it went. Moved the compass another one foot from the pump
and that solved the problem.
