T&T: New Jersey law and boating safety class requirement

There is one thing that has not been mentioned.  The NJ web site has a
decision matrix
which imply that you do not have to comply until 2009 and if you were
born prior to 1949
meaning you are 60 Yrs old by 2009 you are exempt from any mandatory NJ
education.  I also
reviewed their Safety Pamphlet which I assume is the basis for their
course.  It was 20%
boating basic no brainier related information and 80% state bureaucracy
BS on registration and PWC stuff.
Looks to me like this is aimed at you and your tax dollars for using
their water rather than making 
you safer!!!!  This should make a good test case for other states who
have contemplated licensing 
boaters.  If the accident rate and injuries stay the same in 2010 it will
be interesting to see what they say then!!!!!!
