Georgs,
In addition to the fine advice you have already received, I would add that
Mark & Diana Doyle's "Managing the Waterway"   is an excellent book.  You
could probably do the ICW with that and a flip-chart but we always have at
least three guides open...Doyle, Skipper Bob, the Waterway Guide and also
Claiborne Young's guides in areas that he covers.
