T&T: Xantrex Prosine woes

Six year old Prosine 3.0 finally bit the dust. Performed great until  
it pooped out with a "207" error. Reset by disconnecting AC and DC  
power but now have repeatable "195" error. Called tech support and the  
nice gentleman said it *could not be repaired* and to get a new unit.
So I guess I'll replace it with a new unit, two Bu's or so, but it  
still stinks. Thought about a different brand but the DC cables are  
huge and would be difficult to re-route.
Does anyone repair this kind of stuff anymore?
