U didn't say the type & size of your house system.. If they are separate from
the starting batteries & have adequate capacity to carry your house loads for
a reasonable period, sure, use the existing batteries.. Bow thrusters can pull
in the 300 amp range, BUT the duty cycle, usually seconds,  is so low, that
when U convert that number to ampere hours, the actual drain on the batteries
is very low...Never throw more money at a problem than necessary..
