T&T: Attachments - it can happen!

"No attachments" is so 'last century," man!"

Aren't there alternatives to the basic listserv that we could migrate to
which would allow for relatively safe attachments? Our conversations could
take on a whole new level if images, spreadsheets, etc, could be attached.
Back in the old days (say, pre 9/11 for some reference point) internet users
were less saavy virus-wise. Nowadays, I'd imagine if you took a survey,
you'd find that almost all users maintain a virus checker, and most
groupware will pre-scan attachments before broadcasting them in a
conversation thread as a double protection measure.

Has migrating the list to a more full-featured platform been considered?
There are probably some real tech-saavy people on this listserv that could
make good suggestions in this regard.

Good morning Larry,

Attachments aren't allowed on the list, so your pictures got stripped.

You'll have to post them somewhere else like:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Trawlerworldlist/

or another photo website and post the link
