Michael, you are just the guy I have been looking for...having both a Rocna
and a SuperMax.

How do the two anchors compare as grappling hooks?...and in grass?

In my experience (5 yrs with 90 lb rigid SuperMax), the SuperMax seems to
handle that duty rather well in the Bahamas. Various anchorages have very
little sand over limestone and burying does not happen. However, the
SuperMax lays on its side and the edges of the flukes do indeed seem to act
a grappling hook and grab on to the limestone.

It seems to work the same way in grass, with either fluke edge cutting into
the bottom.
