We run our twin Perkins w/Borg-warner tranys at 1800 rpm and make 10
mph. When we run one engine
at 1800 rpm we make 9 mph. The down engine transmission is free
wheeling. No problem with overheating.
It is very difficult to handle at low speed and in a windy condition.
